Self care isn’t something you do once and forget about. Self care is a daily commitment to your mind, body and soul.
We are so often taken up with the needs of others - our children, partner, boss, co-workers, parents, siblings friends, community….the list is endless. We rarely have time for ourselves to look after our needs. And dare I say it, we rarely make time for ourselves. We may well have been raised to believe that doing anything for ourselves is a selfish act. Whatever our reasons, I have come to understand the importance of a good self care routine.
